Milan and the Brazilian national team. He is a free-kick specialist and has exceptional dribbling ability.
Ronaldinho, Portuguese for "Little Ronaldo," is known in Brazil by the nickname "Gaúcho," in order to distinguish him from Ronaldo, who was already called "Ronaldinho" in Brazil. Arsenal v Manchester gallery3

This question will only be better answered when the Blues travel to the red side of London to face Arsenal in one of the hottest local derbies in Europe this season.Arsenal view: Chelsea match can brush away recent disappointmentFive years have gone down the line since Arsene Wenger last lifted the English Premiership trophy for the Gunners. After winning the title in 2004, Arsenal endured infinite moments under the pressure and the power of both Chelsea and Manchester UnitedWhile Chelsea won the Premier League crown twice in a row after Arsenal clinched it five years back, Manchester United have triumphed as domestic champions for the past three yearsThis season might be the time for the Gunners to reclaim their pride and authority over the rest of the clubs in EnglandAston Villa and Arsenal last met in December at the Emirates Stadium. It was a memorable match. Arsenal's Spanish International, Cesc Fabregas, came on as a sub in the 2nd half, took the game by the scruff of its neck, and scored two goals to lead the Gunners to a 3-0 victory. Arsenal moved into 2nd place in the table with that win and Fabregas reinforced his reputation as the creative force that powers the Arsenal midfield engineAlthough they still sit 2nd in the league table, the Arsenal squad that arrives at Villa Park on Wednesday is one that was humbled at the weekend by Stoke City in their 4th Round FA Cup match at Britannia Stadium. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger had already made clear that the league title was his priority and his team selection for the cup tie against Stoke proved the point.Croatian International Eduardo hobbled off with a hamstring injury and according to manager Arsene Wenger he won’t be available for Sunday’s big Premier League tie with Manchester United at Emirates StadiumNow back in third place, one point behind United and two behind Chelsea, a win by Arsenal could vault them back into the top spot, which they recently held ever so briefly. The injury to Eduardo, however, limits Wenger’s attacking options. The good news is that Danish International Nicklas Bendtner has returned to the squad. Abundance, however, would not be the ideal adjective to describe ArsenalEverton’s top five pretentions took a serious blow with the loss of Marouane Fellaini for the remainder of the season. The lanky Belgian injured his ankle last week in a challenge with Sotirios Kyrgiakos, Liverpool’s big Greek center-back. Everton is a team with a number of very good midfielders. But manager David Moyes must be concerned over their availability at the moment. Steven Pienaar was sent off in the match against Liverpool and so he will be suspended. Tim Cahill limped off injured in the 2-1 win against Sporting Lisbon midweek, and may be questionable for the match against United. Mikel Arteta, has recently returned to action following a long term injury but he doesn’t appear to be fully match fit yet. Leon Osman should be available, however, as should Landon Donovan. The American is fit and has been in good form, but he is clearly more a play maker than a winner of the ball. Everton will need ball winners against Manchester United. Zealand Honduras best2009

They have little tournament pedigree and boast no world class players, but the on Honduras to qualify from an ordinary-looking Group H (aside from Spain) has to be seen as great value. They beat Mexico in qualifying and posses some decent European-based players, and although they are at [ to win the tournament, they have enough about them to give Switzerland and Chile a run for their money2010 will be Honduras' second appearance in a World Cup, having partaken in Spain in 1982Their efforts that year were notable, having picked up 1-1 draws with Northern Ireland and the hosts. However their dream was ended in their third and final group game, when a late Yugoslavian goal sent them packingThe grit of Wilson Palacios and the predatory instincts of David Suazo. These two along with Maynor Figueroa have made great strides within Europe's premier divisions, and their teammates will be looking to them to continue their good form right into the World Cup. Aside from these three, the Hondurans will be hoping that a couple of veterans will keep them on the right track. Amado Guevara is their captain and record appearance holder, while 36-year-old striker Carlos Pavon will, along with Suazo, be expected to provide the team with a cutting edge up topShane Smeltz blew a late chance for a penalty goal in a friendly against Honduras in Auckland Saturday, with the sides levelling at 1-1.With the score at 1-1 after 89 minutes, Smeltz hit the crossbar, denying the All Whites a last-gasp victory against the Central AmericansNew Zealand, revelling in their first home display since the World Cup in South Africa, dominated the young Honduran side, which has been rebuilding after soccer's showcase tournamentThe All Whites were the surprise package at the World Cup, entering with a ranking of 78th in the world but finishing as the only unbeaten team after draws Zealand Honduras

Bayern Munich defeated Borussia Monchengladbach 2-1 from the Allianz Arena to take fourth place in the German Bundesliga standings and finally be back in the mix. Ivica Olić and Danijel Pranjić both started the game for Bayern but made early exits in the 59' and 79', respectively. Pranjić tested Borussia goalkeeper Logan Bailly with the first chance of the match. After taking the lead, Bayern took out the Osijek native in favor of a defensive-minded Anatoliy TymoshchukIvan Klasnić got another important start for the Bolton Wanderers in their match at Molineux Stadium as they took on the Wolverhampton Wanderers. (Apparently the Wanderer name is as popular in England as Wildcat is in America.) Klasnić played the entire match in a 2-1 Bolton loss that will keep the club a relegation contender the entire season. Bolton sits second from the bottom with only 12 points from 14 games. Klasnić is playing well despite the lousy results. He had a firm strike on goal and set up the ball that lead to Bolton's only goal. He can easily take this club over if he starts scoring goals. 'King Killer' they would call him!
Vedran Ćorluka had glimpses of greatness and fatigue in this game. Ćarli played his usual 90 minutes and looked a bit lazy in the first half, almost committing an own goal. Ćorluka was not responsible for either Everton goal as they both came from the left side. He is carrying the ball much more in recent weeks and hanging out in the attacking zone on set plays. Ćorluka deserves a nice, long winter break to recharge those batterieKranjčar assisted the second goal off a corner kick that fell perfectly to teammate Michael Dawson for the header. Kranjčar played well on the day connecting many passes for his attackers for chances on goal. He has however cooled down from his absolute tear last month.Tottenham let Everton score two goals to equalize the game within the last 15 minutes before more chaos ensued. Wilson Palacios was hockey checked in injury time while he was making a run in the Everton box. Jermain Defoe lined up for the penalty shot only to have it blocked by Tim Howard's shins. The game ended in a dramatical 2-2 draw.

Lokomotiv Moscow Spartak new2009

Schalke 04 and Hamburg drew in a wild see-saw battle at the Veltins Arena that saw a goal by Kevin Kuryani Schalke in the' to end the game a draw. With the arrival of Ivan Rakitić off the bench in the' as a substitute, Hamburg watched its 2-0 lead disappear to the delight of fans in attendance. After weeks of riding the bench and living in the dog house, Ivan is starting to see more and more playing time with his German squad. Will we see a revitalization of the 'wonderkid' we thought Rakitić was, or has his ego taken too big of a hit to recover in his young career. Ivan will again have a chance to prove his worth as Schalke 04 are guests to TSV Munich in German Cup action Wednesday afternoon. In German Bundesliga standings, Schalke are currently 4th in a very tight race with leaders Bayer Leverkusen, Hamburg and Werder BremenIvica Banović played the entire match in SC Freiburg's 3-0 defeat to Mainz. Mainz enjoyed the home field advantage in front of a sellout home crowd of 20,150 at the Stadon am Bruchweg. Despite having 55% time of possession, SC Freiburg couldn't handle the Mainz onslaught, as 3 of 5 Mainz shots on goal went past goalkeeper Simon Pouplin. SC Freiburg next take on Josip Šimunić and TSG Hoffenheim next SundayDarijo Srna scored the winning goal in a 2-0 win over hated rivals Dynamo Kyiv in the quarterfinal round of the Ukrainian Cup Wednesday night. Srna slammed a bouncing ball into the back of the net after making a fantastic run down the right flank.Listen to the crowd after he scores; they go absolutely nuts! Now we know why he never left Shakhtar to begin with. Srna's goal in the 23' was the winner for Shakhtar, but Fernandinho added another one with only seconds left to really rub it in for Dynamo fans. Just look how the Shakhtar Donetsk attackers play with the ball before Fernandinho insures the win off the post. It's another dark day for Dinamo as UEFA have stripped the Croatian champs the three points they earned in Romania in their 3-0 win over Timisoara for fan misconduct. UEFA's Control and Disciplinary Body ruled that Dinamo Zagreb would also have to play their next two home matches in the UEFA Europa League behind closed doors. UEFA deducted three points from the Croatian club's points tally in Group A leaving them now with zero through three games. The club was given three days to appeal against the decisionCSR ran a report last week on Ryan Rosenbaum's 90 yard goal for SMU in their 3-2 defeat of Tulsa. Croatian papers got a hold of the story this week as both 24 Sata and Dubrovački.hr reranour article in Croatian. Chelsea Watford 3rd Round new

He certainly learned one lessson, earning a loud rebuke from the Newcastle bench for waving an imaginary card when Ryan Taylor, already cautioned for flattening Gael Kakuta, fouled Patrick van Aanholt. "This is football,’’ shrugged Ancelotti. "Italian football. Maybe it’s the last time I’ll do it.’’ GoodIn a topsy-turvy first half that saw the Toon Army initially concerned but soon chanting "ole’’, Newcastle had endured the worst of starts, a succession of mistakes by Sol Campbell (otherwise assured), Tim Krul and Alan Smith, gifting the ball to Kakuta. His cutback was swept home by Van Aanholt. So far, so expected. Football’s natural order seemed to be asserting itself. Newcastle had other ideas. And so unfolded a crazy cup tie. Smith began biting into tackles, wresting control from Ramires. Ranger started speeding down the right while Gutierrez troubled Paulo Ferreira on the other flank.Booed by the home fans for his Arsenal and Spurs affiliations, Campbell promptly rolled back the years to roll back a Chelsea attack, dispossessing Nicolas Anelka.Pouring forward in waves one moment, Chelsea were suddenly all at sea. Confidence drained from them. When Ferguson, Newcastle’s excellent young left-back, lifted in a 26th-minute cross, Chelsea’s defence froze. Hughton’s players simply wanted it more, reacting faster to the cross. Peter Lovenkrands beat Terry in the air, flicking the ball to the far post where Ranger poached an equaliser, diving in ahead of Van Aanholt to ram the ball home. The Bridge was stunned. The visitors sensed an upset. Now the force was with Newcastle. Ranger missed with the goal gaping. Then Fabricio Coloccini swept the ball down the middle and Ameobi was off and running, his journey towards Ross Turnbull’s area halted illegally by Jeffrey BrumaTwenty yards out, slightly to the left of centre, this was Ryan Taylor country and he thumped the ball past the wall and Turnbull.Ameobi really came to the fore in the second half. When Ferreira lost possession, Ameobi advanced with the ball and Alex, who had replaced Terry as planned, stood off. Mistake. Ameobi needed little bidding and his right-footed shot flew past the sluggish Turnbull. "Pinch me, Bob, it feels like I’m dreaming,’’ shouted the radio commentator from Newcastle to his Toon legend of an analyst, Bob MoncurThe dream soon seemed in danger. Willed on by their fans, Chelsea made it 3-2 when Anelka brilliantly turned in Van Aanholt’s cross. Chelsea were fighting for their lives, Alex constantly storming upfield and McEachran refusing to go quietly. Their equaliser was shaped by iniquity. When Alex slipped, Phil Dowd pointed to the spot and Anelka rolled the ball home. Butthen came Ameobi.
